IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:

✔ Confirm the 6.36" pulley diameter, 12-rib belt configuration, and 3.39" first-groove position.
✔ Verify the 5.00" fan pilot, 6.00" bolt circle, stud dimensions, and mounting distances against the removed clutch.
✔ Inspect the fan, belt, pulley, journal bracket, air lines, solenoid, electrical connector, and wiring for wear or damage.
✔ Use serviceable mounting hardware and torque all fasteners to Horton or PACCAR specifications.
✔ Verify belt alignment, fan-to-shroud clearance, air-control response, and both low- and high-speed operation.

Restored proper cooling and quiet operation

Posted by Daniel Foster on 10th Feb 2026

Installed this remanufactured Drivemaster two-speed fan clutch on a PACCAR MX13 after dealing with inconsistent fan engagement and unnecessary cycling. Fitment was exact to OE with no modifications required. Fan engagement is now smooth and predictable under load, and it disengages correctly at cruise, reducing noise and drag. Unit arrived clean, well-packaged, and clearly inspected. Cooling behavior is back to normal and engine temperatures are stable. Solid reman solution when OEM lead times or costs aren’t practical.
