✔ Apply BW 204-M barium-based lubricant in shaft cavity during rebuild or installation
✔ Ensure push rod aligns ≥90° to slack adjuster arm; avoid binding during operation
✔ Tighten clamping ring bolts evenly and securely to prevent diaphragm leakage
✔ Apply full reservoir pressure (~70 psi) at lock port to release parking brake hold
✔ Follow 3-month/900-hour maintenance cycle for rod travel, diaphragm wear, and air leaks
✔ Use only genuine replacement parts for diaphragms, springs, and seals during service
✔ Follow OEM torque specs for mounting hardware during installation
