✔ Actuator must be installed with drain slot and exhaust check valve facing downward
✔ Apply BW 204-M barium lubricant inside shaft cavity during rebuild or assembly
✔ Ensure push rod forms 90°+ angle with slack adjuster arm in applied position
✔ Clamping ring bolts must be tightened evenly and securely to prevent diaphragm leaks
✔ Push rod travel should be minimal without brake drag for optimal diaphragm life
✔ Use only genuine Bendix components during service or rebuild procedures
✔ Monthly inspections recommended for alignment, travel, and system leakage
