IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:
✔ Confirm the application requires a left-hand loaded backing plate assembly with 5" brake shoes and a 1.75" expander bore.
✔ Install a new gasket between the backing plate and hydraulic expander cylinder.
✔ Tighten the bridge pipe connection to 10 to 15 ft-lbs and torque all mounting hardware to OE specifications.
✔ Inspect the drum, hydraulic lines, seals, axle flange, and mounting surfaces before installation.
✔ Bleed the hydraulic system completely, adjust shoe-to-drum clearance, and test brake application, release, and hydraulic sealing.
