IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:
✔ Confirm the application requires a right-hand backing plate assembly with a 1.75" hydraulic expander bore.
✔ Install a new gasket between the hydraulic cylinder and backing plate.
✔ Tighten the bridge pipe connection to 10 to 15 ft-lbs and torque all mounting hardware to OE specifications.
✔ Install the correct brake shoes, return springs, drum, hub, and spring brake components according to the vehicle service procedure.
✔ Use only the hydraulic fluid specified for the original Lucas Girling system, bleed the system completely, and test for leakage and proper brake operation.
