✔ Actuator must be installed with drain slot and exhaust check valve facing downward
✔ Apply BW 204-M barium lubricant inside shaft cavity during rebuild or installation
✔ Ensure push rod forms 90°+ angle with slack adjuster arm when brakes are applied
✔ Tighten all clamping ring bolts evenly to eliminate diaphragm sealing issues
✔ Use full reservoir pressure (~70 psi) at lock port to release park brake position
✔ Regular 3-month or 900-hour inspections recommended for diaphragm and lock system
✔ Only install with verified alignment and ensure push rod travel is within spec
✔ Mounting torque and hardware specs should follow vehicle manufacturer guidelines
