✔ Bench-bleed cylinder before installation to remove trapped air
✔ Confirm outlet thread sizes and match to OE line fittings (9/16″–18, 1/2″–20)
✔ Verify pushrod depth against vehicle OE spec before mounting
✔ Use only DOT-approved brake fluid (DOT 3 or DOT 4 per OEM)
✔ Torque mounting bolts evenly to prevent flange distortion
✔ Special order unit – confirm availability before scheduling repair
