DESCRIPTION:

Model: Sealco Charging-Style Relay Emergency Valve with Ratio Feature
Vehicles: Pre-FMVSS-121 trailers and compatible systems using single service brake chambers

• Valve Type: Charging-style relay emergency valve with ratio feature
• Supply/Emergency Port: One 1/4" NPT female
• Control Port: One 1/4" NPT female
• Reservoir Port: One 3/4" NPT female
• Delivery Ports: Four 3/8" NPT female
• Nominal Crack Pressure: 4.5 PSI
• Normal Braking Ratio: 1:1
• Temporary Boost Ratio: 1:1.5 during rapid brake applications
• Charging Function: Fills the trailer reservoir directly from the supply line
• Relay Function: Delivers reservoir air rapidly to the service brake chambers
• Emergency Function: Controls trailer braking during supply-line pressure loss

Applications:
Designed for compatible older trailer brake systems using single service chambers and a charging-style relay emergency valve. The valve directly charges the reservoir from the supply circuit and provides proportional service brake delivery with a temporary ratio boost during rapid applications.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:

✔ Fully depressurize the trailer air system before removing or installing the valve.
✔ Confirm one 1/4" supply/emergency port, one 1/4" control port, one 3/4" reservoir port, and four 3/8" delivery ports.
✔ Verify the application requires a charging-style valve with a nominal 4.5 PSI crack pressure and ratio feature.
✔ Mark every air line before removal, plug unused delivery ports, and apply approved air-system thread sealant sparingly.
✔ Pressurize the system and verify reservoir charging, service brake response, emergency operation, ratio function, and no air leakage.
