IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:
✔ Spring brake chambers contain a high-energy power spring. Installation and service must be performed by trained technicians following the manufacturer’s approved procedures.
✔ Confirm the application requires a Type 36 chamber with an 8" push rod, 5/8"-18 UNF thread, and 4.75" stud spacing.
✔ Verify both air connections are 3/8"-18 NPTF and reconnect them according to the equipment pneumatic schematic.
✔ Align the push rod with the brake linkage without side loading and set the clevis position according to the axle or brake manufacturer’s specification.
✔ This is a non-caging chamber. Do not attempt to disassemble, cut, weld, or manually release the power spring housing.
