LTL Freight Shipping Policy
Heavy, oversized, or palletized items may require shipment by LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight.
Effective June 15, 2022, Fleet Products, BC Fleet Products, and KBR offer prepaid freight under the following terms.
All prices are FOB Port Coquitlam, Calgary, and Mississauga locations. Prepaid freight applies to orders of $2,250.00 or more (excluding core charges) shipped within Canada, provided items are in stock and ready for shipment. This policy excludes double diaphragm spring brakes and piggyback kits. These items may be included in qualifying orders; however, any additional freight charges will be billed separately. All prepaid orders are shipped via the carrier of our choice.
Selecting the Correct Delivery Type
Commercial locations are expected to have a loading dock, forklift, or suitable unloading equipment. If unloading equipment is not available, indicate “Liftgate Required” in the order comments. Liftgate service is an additional charge and will be confirmed prior to shipment.
Residential locations include homes, farms, agricultural properties, and businesses operating from residential zones. Residential deliveries require different freight rates and typically include liftgate service and residential surcharges.
If a commercial rate is selected for a residential address, additional charges may apply. We may contact you to collect the difference or adjust the shipping method before dispatch.
Limited Access Locations
Certain delivery locations may incur additional carrier fees, including:
- Military bases
- Ports and shipping terminals
- Construction sites or quarries
- Airports or restricted-access facilities
- Secured or scheduled-access locations
If your delivery location requires restricted access, indicate “Limited Access Required” in the order comments. Additional carrier fees may apply and will be confirmed prior to shipment.
