IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:
✔ Tighten crankshaft nut to 65–70 ft-lb and install cotter pin
✔ Use a proper interference fit on the crankshaft and replace worn pulley or gear if required
✔ Tighten mounting bolts evenly to OEM specification
✔ Install a new discharge fitting gasket during installation
✔ Align the compressor drive and adjust belt tension correctly
✔ Maintain a constant downward slope on the discharge line to reduce ice buildup
✔ Install a safety valve to protect against over-pressurization caused by a frozen discharge line
✔ Ensure the air cleaner is clean and properly sealed
