✔ Confirm push rod length (10.15") and thread (5/8"-18 UNF) match clevis
✔ Use proper mounting with 4.75" stud spacing and 7/16"-14 UNC threads
✔ Air port orientation typically 90°; verify before installation
✔ Clampband orientation 45°; confirm compatibility with axle mounting
✔ Torque specifications:
• Mounting bolts: 35–40 ft-lbs
• Push rod clevis pin: 50–60 ft-lbs
• Air line fittings: 18–20 ft-lbs
✔ Always replace diaphragm during installation; never reuse
✔ Apply thread sealant on air fittings to prevent leaks
✔ Orient ports downward to avoid moisture accumulation
✔ After install, verify 1/4"–3/8" free stroke
✔ Stroke indicator should clearly display range (Orange Alert)
