✔ Install flange mount at 2.5° tilt using CAT-specific pattern.

✔ Maintain minimum 2.5 GPM coolant flow.

✔ Use correct discharge line size with continuous downward slope.
✔ Prime oil lines and check for leaks before startup.
✔ Drain reservoirs and flush coolant and air lines before service.

✔ Torque inlet/discharge fittings: 175–225 in-lb.
✔ Torque pipe plugs: 35–270 in-lb, size dependent.
