IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:
- ✔ Maintain minimum 2.5 GPM coolant flow.
- ✔ Do not exceed 3000 RPM.
- ✔ Use properly sized discharge line with downward slope.
- ✔ Ensure oil supply and oil return lines are unrestricted before startup.
- ✔ Drain all air reservoirs before service.
- ✔ Cylinder head torque: 440–500 in-lb.
- ✔ Inlet/discharge fitting torque: 175–225 in-lb.
- ✔ Pipe plug torque: 35–270 in-lb, size dependent.
- ✔ Crankshaft nut castle torque: 1200–1440 in-lb (100–120 ft-lb).
- ✔ Crankshaft nut metric torque: 2640–3048 in-lb (220–254 ft-lb).
