✔ Connect black (–) clamp to donor battery’s negative terminal, then to engine block/frame of dead vehicle
✔ Never connect negative clamp to the dead battery’s negative terminal to avoid explosion risk
✔ Ensure firm clamp grip on clean, unpainted metal for optimal contact
✔ Avoid clamp-to-clamp contact during use
✔ Do not exceed 500A; unsuitable for engines larger than 8.0L gas or 6.0L diesel
✔ Inspect cables for cracks, corrosion, or loose clamps before each use
✔ Store in provided travel case or bag to prevent cable damage
