IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:
✔ Thoroughly clean all caliper bores and mounting surfaces before assembly to ensure proper fitment.
✔ Apply high-temperature brake grease to all sliding points, pins, and bushings to prevent binding and uneven pad wear.
✔ Replace guide pins, bushings, and dust excluders together to maintain balanced braking performance.
✔ Mount the caliper housing on the carrier using correct OEM bolts (M18 guide-pin bolts, M14 carrier bolts).
✔ Torque all fasteners to OEM specification; do not reuse stretched or corroded hardware.
✔ Confirm correct lever and adjuster gear alignment before fully tightening bolts.
✔ Install pads in correct orientation (inboard/outboard) and secure with the retaining bar.
✔ Manually adjust the gear-driven adjuster to seat pads near the rotor, then back off ½ turn to allow automatic adjustment.
✔ Verify smooth rotation of rotor and free movement of slide pins after assembly.
✔ Inspect rotor surface for cracks, heat checking, and proper run-out; replace if out of tolerance.
✔ Ensure caliper is installed on the correct side — EX225H201 (RH) and EX225H202 (LH).
✔ The short slide pin uses an oval bushing; the long slide pin uses round bushings — install accordingly.
