✔ Confirm axle rating, bolt circle, and stud size match your trailer before installation
✔ Clean spindle and inspect bearings/races before assembling drum
✔ Pack bearings with high-temperature wheel bearing grease before installation
✔ Install seals evenly to prevent distortion and leaks
✔ Torque lug nuts in star pattern to OEM spec (90–120 lb-ft typical for 1/2"-20)
✔ Re-torque lug nuts after initial road use
✔ For Quick-Lube hubs, use the dust cap’s rubber plug for routine greasing
