DESCRIPTION:
Model: BE13255 Pneumatic Trailer Emergency Stoplight Switch
Vehicles: Heavy-duty tractors and trailers using compatible pneumatic stoplight and emergency brake warning circuits
• Switch Type: Pneumatically actuated single-pole, double-throw switch
• Actuation Pressure: 55 PSI
• Circuit Configuration: One normally open circuit and one normally closed circuit
• Electrical Terminals: Three
• Pneumatic Port: One 1/8"-27 NPT
• Operating Voltage: 12/24 VDC
• Function: Changes electrical circuit position when air pressure reaches the specified actuation point
• System Use: Trailer stoplight, emergency brake warning, and related pneumatic signaling circuits
Applications:
Designed for tractor and trailer pneumatic brake systems requiring an SPDT pressure switch that changes circuit position at 55 PSI. It is typically replaced when stoplights or warning circuits activate at the wrong pressure, fail to activate, remain continuously energized, or the switch develops an air or electrical fault.

A cross-reference listing means this part may be a suitable replacement for the listed part numbers. Always verify fitment before installation.
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:
✔ Fully drain air-system pressure before removing or installing the switch.
✔ Apply pneumatic-grade sealant to the 1/8"-27 NPT threads without allowing sealant to enter the switch.
✔ Confirm the TTR and IGN terminals connect below 55 PSI and the TTR and TLR terminals connect above 55 PSI.
✔ Verify the vehicle uses a compatible 12V or 24V SPDT stoplight circuit before connecting the terminals.
✔ Pressurize the system and verify the switch changes circuit position at 55 PSI without air leakage or false stoplight activation.
