Good guidance before committing to install
Purchased this new DF-596 for a Detroit Series 60 application and called in before installation to confirm setup. Spoke with Dallas, who was upfront about the known reed valve issues on this model and explained why many customers are switching to the BA-922 instead. He walked through the technical reasoning clearly and didn’t push a sale one way or the other. Compressor itself arrived new and complete, but the honest guidance saved me from installing something that may not be the best long-term option. Still deciding on the switch, but the support alone was excellent and appreciated.
