DESCRIPTION:
Model: Pressure Protection Valve (Air Brake)
Vehicles: General truck and trailer air brake systems
• Operation: Normally closed until system pressure reaches 70 PSI; opens at 75 PSI; recloses automatically if pressure drops below 70 PSI
• Ports: (2) 1/4" NPT
• Max Operating Pressure: 150 PSI
• Operating Temperature Range: -40°F to 180°F (-40°C to 82°C)
• Protects primary air brake system by isolating auxiliary systems to prevent pressure loss
Applications:
Designed for heavy-duty truck and trailer air brake systems requiring protection of the primary system from auxiliary line failure or pressure loss. Automatically controls air flow to maintain system integrity.Used when auxiliary air systems are supplied off a primary air system to safeguard primary brake pressure integrity
