• Hydraulic spring-applied parking brake with integral service brake
• 2.00″ (51 mm) rod stroke
• Epoxy-coated steel spring for corrosion protection
• Steel piston with nylon bearing minimizes lateral travel
• Chrome-plated, cut-to-fit push rod (5/8-18 UNF)
• Steel band clamp (straight, 0° offset)
• Rated to 125 psi hydraulic pressure
• Compatible with automatic transmission fluid (ATF) only — do not use brake fluid
Applications: Used on medium-duty commercial trucks equipped with Lucas Girling or Haldex hydraulic brake systems. Commonly found on Ford LN, LNT, FT, and B-Series trucks requiring hydraulic Maxi Brake spring chambers for parking/emergency brake functions. Also suitable for trailer hydraulic brake applications using 5" shoes and compatible backing plates.

INSTALLATION NOTES:
✔ Use ATF only — never substitute conventional brake fluid
✔ Torque mounting studs to 125–150 lb-ft to prevent hydraulic leakage
✔ Ensure chrome push rod length is correctly adjusted to match OE specs
✔ Bleed air from system via bleeder ports before first activation
✔ Confirm push rod thread (5/8-18 UNF) matches yoke or clevis connection
✔ Check that port thread (3/8-18 NPTF) is sealed with proper hydraulic fitting
✔ Replace in pairs to ensure balanced brake actuation if applicable
✔ Observe all OSHA lockout/tagout procedures when servicing spring chambers
