Model: KN20551 Hand Control Valve
Vehicles: Suitable for tractor-trailer combinations with separate trailer service brake actuation
• Actuation Type: Manual, lever-actuated graduated air pressure control
• Mounting: Typically in-column or dash; bracket and handle sold separately
• Supply Port: 1/4" NPT

Applications:
Used in air brake systems for independent control of trailer service brakes, particularly in applications requiring fine graduated control. ✔ Do not use for parking brake actuation – handle is labeled “NOT FOR PARKING”
✔ Torque mounting screws to 30–60 in-lbs (3.4–6.8 Nm)
✔ Torque air line fittings to 10 ft-lbs (13.6 Nm)
✔ Confirm all 1/4" NPT ports are correctly connected per air schematic
✔ Valve must be securely mounted to prevent vibration-related failure
