DESCRIPTION:
Model: Left-hand rear brake backing plate assembly for Lucas Girling hydraulic drum brake systems
Engines: Compatible with systems using 1.75” bore expander cylinders
Vehicles: Ford LN/FT-Series trucks (1980s–1990s), commercial trailers, and buses using 6" or 7" brake shoes
• 1.75” bore size for expander/adjuster cylinder
• Compatible with 6" or 7" brake shoes (shoes not included)
• Includes RC-01 residual check valve (maintains 3–10 psi pressure)
• Steel housing with epoxy coating for corrosion resistance
• Remanufactured or new (core return may be required)
Applications: Used in Ford heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and buses equipped with Lucas Girling hydraulic drum brakes. Designed for the left-hand (driver side) rear axle. Fits systems requiring 1.75” bore adjusters and 6" or 7" shoes. Compatible with Haldex, Meritor, and other OEM systems due to shared specifications. Integrated RC-01 valve supports seal life by holding residual line pressure after brake release.
