Model: Bendix ADB22 / Knorr SB6/7, SN6/7, SK6/7
Vehicles: Heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and buses with Bendix ADB22 or Knorr SB/SN/SK7 calipers
• Component: Caliper calibration bolt – 3 thread design
• Function: Secures caliper to carrier and aligns guide pins during service
• Installation: One short bolt for floating pin bushing, one long bolt for fixed pin bushing
• Torque Spec: 133 ft-lbs (180 N·m) + 90° turn (per Meritor/Bendix procedure)

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:
✔ Always replace both caliper bolts during service—do not reuse old bolts
✔ Install shorter bolt in floating pin bushing, longer bolt in fixed pin bushing
✔ Torque each bolt to 133 ft-lbs (180 N·m), then rotate additional 90°
✔ Ensure caliper slides freely on guide pins before reassembly
✔ Use correct 14 mm hex bit socket—avoid rounded heads or under-torque
