IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:
✔ Ensure alignment of treadle assembly before bolting to cab floor or firewall
✔ Inspect sealing gaskets on valve base prior to installation
✔ Torque all fasteners to Bendix specification:
• Lock nut on stem: 20–30 in-lbs
• 1/4" cap screws (body halves): 30–60 in-lbs
✔ Verify proper valve return action after pedal release
✔ Confirm full travel and brake response before vehicle use
