✔ Align dust cap squarely, tap in with rubber mallet until flush with hub face

✔ For E-Z Lube spindles, replace removable rubber plug annually (Dexter 085-001-00 or equivalent)
✔ Use stainless steel or chrome-plated variants in marine or high-moisture conditions
