IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES:
✔ Port orientation is always viewed from the rear
✔ Flange torque should follow OEM spec (typically 80–100 ft-lbs)
✔ Ensure correct head orientation based on discharge configuration

  • Maintain minimum 2.5 gpm coolant flow.
  • Do not exceed 2400 RPM. Replace all gaskets and fittings.
  • Use correct discharge line size with continuous downward slope.
  • Ensure oil lines are primed and leak-free before startup.
  • Drain reservoirs and flush coolant and air lines before air system service.

Suggested torque

  • Cylinder Head: 300–360 in-lb
  • Inlet / Discharge Fittings: 175–225 in-lb
  • Pipe Plugs: 35–270 in-lb (size dependent)
  • Crankshaft Nut (Castle): 1200–1400 in-lb (100–120 ft-lb)
  • Crankshaft Nut (Metric): 2640–3048 in-lb (220–254 ft-lb)
