Model: Right-Hand Backing Plate Assembly (6" or 7" Shoes)
Engines: Hydraulic brake systems using 1.75” bore wheel cylinders
Vehicles: Ford LN/FT-series, commercial trucks, buses
• Right-hand (passenger side) backing plate
• Fits Lucas Girling hydraulic drum brakes
• 1.75” bore wheel cylinder
• Includes RC-01 residual check valve (3–10 psi)
• Compatible with 6” or 7” brake shoes
• Ready to install: cylinder ports and mounts included
Applications:
Used on Ford medium- and heavy-duty trucks (1980s–1990s) with Lucas Girling rear hydraulic drum brake systems. Also applies to other commercial vehicles and transit buses requiring a right-hand assembly with RC-01 valve and shoes. Commonly replaced during brake system overhauls or servicing of hydraulic parking brakes.

-> Torque mounting bolts to OEM spec and test system pressure retention
-> May require core return for remanufactured units
